Fireseed Gardens overlooks Maxwelton Valley and the privately owned Miller Lake.  On 10 acres you will discover pasture lands for strolling, woods for exploring, a 4000 square foot manicured garden area for ceremonies, and a 3600 sq foot indoor heated hall serviced by our fully licensed commercial kitchen. Fireseed's grounds are surrounded by annual and perennial flowers, evergreens, sculpltures and art by local artists and craftsmen. A hidden sound system can supply background music as your guests wander the grounds and gardens discovering the charm of Whidbey Islands peaceful beauty. Our hideaway truly removes you from the world right down to the off street parking for all of your guests.  In the past 7 years we have hosted more than 150 events and have succeeded in creating a space that feels comfortable and intimate no matter what size you guest list.

In 2009 Fireseed Gardens became the South Island's only licensed Rural Event Center. What this means for your wedding is assurance that we comply with all of Island County's stringent regulations imposed upon event facilities.  We offer the peace of mind that our venue conforms with parking, noise, building and health ordinances, so here there are no surprises.

When you choose us as your ceremony and reception venue we focus entirely on you and your wedding. Because we only take one event a weekend you have three days of access to our place. The day before your event we offer you time to decorate, have a rehearsal, and bring in beverages as well as reconfirming your timeline and layout. From as early as you want on the day of your event you can relax in the bridal room, add finishing touches to your tables or stroll the grounds for pictures. The day after your event we are still here for you and offer you ample time to pick up gifts, extra beverages and any other items left behind. We believe our venue should feel like yours for the weekend and not a sterile rental space that you have one day to pack in to and pack out of. Our clients leave with a piece of our place that makes their wedding memory that much more unique.

Our fully renovated 3600 square foot Barn includes 3 bathrooms, a sound system, heat and an antique bar stocked with your beverages and staffed by our licensed bartenders. Most clients find the charm and elegance of the Barn with its own meditative gardens to need little additional decoration but we are open to different ideas. As your guests journey from the outdoor appetizers to the indoor dinner they are greeted by a new space that only heightens the whole experience. While most ceremonies take place in the picturesque setting of the gardens our indoor venue also offers a backup space for the ceremony that puts all couples at ease. Events of any season can be held on our premises unaffected by the Pacific Northwest's unique weather patterns.
