Since 2004, Fireseed Catering has hosted more than 300 weddings and celebratory events on pastoral Whidbey Island, located about an hour north of Seattle, Washington.
After completely renovating our 10-acre property, Fireseed now solely caters events held at our on-site facility. Such emphasis allows us to focus exclusively on your event, preparing any request from our commercial kitchen, offering a lush garden setting year-round, and hosting ceremonies as well as receptions in our indoor and outdoor spaces.
The first licensed rural event center on Whidbey Island, Fireseed Catering’s Hall and Gardens meets all of Island County’s stringent noise, safety, building and health ordinances. Holding your wedding at our facility ensures your day will not have any unwanted surprises.
The Barn
Lovingly known as “The Barn,” our fully renovated, 6,200 square foot event space has been tastefully converted by skilled local craftspeople, creating a space that feels comfortable and intimate no matter what your theme and guest count.
Fully heated year-round, The Barn provides a rustic elegance to any event. Highlights include:

While most clients find this charming venue to need few additional decorations, we are always open to different themes and ideas.
What’s more, we understand that the stress of preparing for and closing down from a wedding in 12 hours or less doesn’t quite fit the picture of your “special day.” At Fireseed, you enjoy three days of access to the property, so you can relax and take your time.
Day Before
Have the day to decorate, hold a rehearsal, bring in beverages, and reconfirm your timeline and layout.
Day Of
Relax in the bridal and groom suites, add finishing touches to your tables, or stroll the ground for pictures.
We take care of wedding coordinating the day of as well as running the rehearsal the day before.
Day After
You have ample time to pick up gifts, beverages, and any other items left behind.
