Among the many reasons to have Fireseed cater your next event, the most compelling has to be the food. The company is owned and operated by two Culinary Institute of America (CIA) graduates whose experience and knowledge continues to lead them to new creative and flavorful ideas. We prioritize true farm to table, with many of the elements coming directly from our gardens.
Always Unique
Forget the “option A, B or C” approach to catering. At Fireseed, we believe that the food should match the event in much the same way a wine is paired with a meal, we tailor each menu to fit a client’s particular tastes and no event is ever a duplicate.
We frequently offer sample menus from other events that we have catered to assist clients in forming a general outline for budgeting, as well as get a sense for our culinary style. Feel free to contact us for samples menus relevant to your interests.
A Feast for the Senses
For us, people eat first with their eyes, saving the final judgment for their palates. That is why the presentation of our food is as appealing as the taste. We always strive to serve the freshest, most-appetizing food possible using our own collection of heavy stainless, roll-top chafing dishes, serving pieces and unique handmade pottery from Stillfire pottery. Our buffets burst with colors and textures, while family-style meals are composed with the same attention detail.
Sweet Temptations
It is that big moment at your reception: The beautiful wedding cake is unveiled, and you and your newly betrothed cut into it, hand and hand. Yet such a sweet occasion can turn quickly sour if the dessert doesn’t taste as good as it looks.
As Fireseed co-owner Dawn Noble says, “There’s no reason to make an Eiffel Tower if it ends up tasting like one, too.”
After graduating from CIA, Dawn focused on pastries at the Wilton School of Cake Design and continues her education today, most recently with the CIA at Greystone in Sonoma. She creates real wedding cakes of most any flavor, any shape, and any size.
Beyond cakes, Dawn is well known for:
Homemade seasonal pies — a selection of marionberry, apple, strawberry rhubarb, pecan and cream pies as well as many others.
Cupcake selections — this popular alternative for the casual wedding guarantees something for everyone, with a tasteful arrangement of assorted cupcakes ranging from Vanilla Mascarpone to Chocolate Mocha Espresso and Red Velvet to S’mores style cupcakes.
Dessert assortments and beyond — consisting of homemade chocolates, assorted high-end cookies and as always a small show cake for the ceremonial cutting can be a part of any dessert idea.
For over a decade Dawn has made amazing ice cream sandwiches with homemade cookies and now homemade ice cream. Eggs from the property provide the basis of these ice cream creations that are then spiced up with flavors from the garden. How about Asian pear or strawberry rhubarb ice cream nestled between two sugar cookies, Italian plum and chocolate crackle cookies, fennel orange and chocolate chip cookies, etc… the list goes on as long as the seasons do.
Looking for something different? Ask about our homemade ice cream sandwiches, and sundae bars, or bring us your ideas and we will make them delicious.
