Organic Goodness

At Fireseed Catering, we consider the garden where our produce comes from is as important as the garden where your ceremony is held.

That is why, in addition to 10 acres of natural beauty and well-adorned flower gardens, our grounds include an organic vegetable garden and greenhouse tended by one of Whidbey Island’s most innovative gardeners, Pam Mitchell. Succession plantings, starting plants from seed, and the extra sun that graces Whidbey combine to yield the produce we incorporate into all of our menus. Pam’s produce also may be purchased at the nearby Bayview Farmer’s Market every Saturday (May through October).

“It is true that nothing tastes better than freshly picked produce — except maybe freshly picked produce prepared by Fireseed Catering.”

When demand outpaces production, we can also turn to the amazing community of local farmers who produce organic fruits and vegetables, dairy and other ingredients all within miles of our facility. At Fireseed, it is our mission to supply you and your guests with a true farm-to-table, Pacific Northwest experience.
