The joys of a Whidbey Island wedding reception are punctuated with being in the Olympic Rain Shadow, which translates to 1/2 the rainfall of our Seattle neighbor.
Fireseed’s grounds are located on the South end of Whidbey Island. The Island is one of the many natural gems in the Puget Sound. It lies only 35 minutes north of Seattle and includes an enchanting ferry ride from Mukilteo (ferry cams), often studded with whale sightings, seals, and plenty of seagulls to feed.
Directions from the Ferry Dock in Clinton
- As you leave the ferry, you will be on State Route 525 (SR525).
- Stay on SR525 for just over 4 miles and take a left on Coles Road. (You’ll know you’re close when you pass through the traffic light at Maxwelton Road, the second traffic light you’ll encounter once you’ve left the dock.)
- After just shy of one mile on Coles Road, look for the Fireseed sign on your left. Parking is on right as you enter the grounds.
